FABIO ZUFFANTI: 20 YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE ROCK AROUND THE WORLD

After the great international success of his last album “La quarta vittima” Fabio Zuffanti returns with a live in studio album. The album is the report of a tour that led to Fabio and his band around Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and Canada. It summarizes twenty years of career of growing success and offers a kind of best-of of his solo repertoire and than that of his bands Finisterre, la Maschera Di Cera and Höstsonaten.

Zuffanti says:
During the concerts for “La quarta vittima Toru 2014” I wanted to realize a live album. Unfortunately, for a number of technical problems, we did not succeed but I told myself I had to do something to stop at least one of the gigs of this extraordinary band. In the absence of new concerts the best thing was to record an album “live in studio” with some of the songs that we played during the tour taken from “La quarta vittima” and other writing for Finisterre, Maschera Di Cera and Hostsonaten that I still feel very close to me.
So, one day the whole group went to Hilary Audio Recording Studio and began playing live as we were in concert, unfortunately without an audience but with the same passion and intensity as ever. This is to close this period, say goodbye to our guitarist Matteo that leaves us to devote himself to the study of film music in Spain, thank our audience and prepare for our next musical steps.

FABIO ZUFFANTI: 20 ANNI DI NUOVO ROCK PROGRESSIVO IN GIRO PER IL MONDO

Dopo il grande riscontro internazionale ottenuto del suo ultimo album “La quarta vittima” Fabio Zuffanti ritorna con un disco registrato dal vivo in studio assieme alla sua band. L’album è il resoconto di un tour che ha portato Fabio e la sua band in giro per Italia, Belgio, Olanda e Canada, sintetizza vent’anni di carriera dal successo sempre crescente e offre una sorta di best-of del suo repertorio solista e di quello dei suoi gruppi Finisterre, la Maschera di Cera e Höstsonaten.

Dice Zuffanti:
Durante i concerti per “La Quarta Vittima Tour 2014” avrei voluto realizzare un album dal vivo. Purtroppo, per una serie di problemi tecnici, non ci siamo riusciti ma mi sono detto che dovevo fare qualcosa per fermare almeno una delle prestazioni di questa straordinaria band. In assenza di nuovi concerti la cosa migliore era quella di registrare un album ‘live in studio’ con alcune delle canzoni che abbiamo suonato durante il tour; pezzi da “La Quarta Vittima” e altri scritti per Finisterre, Höstsonaten e Maschera Di Cera che sento ancora molto vicini.
Così, un giorno tutto il gruppo si è recato agli Hilary Audio Recording Studio e ha iniziato a suonare dal vivo come fossimo in concerto, purtroppo senza un pubblico ma con la stessa passione e intensità di sempre. Questo per chiudere questo periodo, salutare il chitarrista Matteo che ci lascia per dedicarsi allo studio delle musica da film in Spagna, ringraziare il nostro pubblico e prepararci per i prossimi passi.
